Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) Safety Standards

Effective date: 20-09-2025

At Alerten, the safety of children and vulnerable people is a top priority. This page describes the standards, procedures, and commitments we have published to prevent, detect, and respond to any instances of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) within our platform.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for content or behaviour that sexualizes, exploits, or abuses children. Any content or accounts found to be in violation will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.

2. Prohibited Content

3. Reporting & Escalation

If users encounter content or behaviour that may involve CSAE, they must report it immediately through the in-app report button or via email to our dedicated safety team.

Reports are prioritized based on severity. We aim to review high-risk CSAE reports immediately and resolve within 24 hours where possible.

4. External Resources & Hotlines

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. For non-emergency support and reporting, use the following resources:

5. Contact & Report Channels

If you have evidence of child sexual exploitation, please preserve evidence and contact your local law enforcement agency immediately before sharing. Do not post explicit evidence publicly.

6. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our CSAE prevention measures and update this policy as technology, law, and best practices evolve. Feedback can be sent to support@alerten.org.
